Bella Gamonal is 8 years old. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and rather than let it define her, she became an advocate for other kids living with T1D — and she hopes to serve as a T1D ambassador as she grows.
She plays piano by ear — if she hears it, she can play it. She draws. Anything, really.
She trains jiu jitsu alongside her little brother George, under a family of black belts.
And she's an author. Her book, Bella & George: The Jiu-Jitsu Journey — written with her mother Denise and father Diego — has been featured on Fox 29, signed at academies, schools and churches, and placed in the hands of kids who needed to see themselves on a page.
Bella Little Jewels is her boutique. The jewelry is curated — not made — by her. These are the pieces she chose, for the women in her life she admires. We kept the line small on purpose. So did she.
